Refund policy

Orders, Delivery & Refunds

Effective date: August 1, 2026

Everything we sell is a digital file. This page covers the whole journey: how you buy, how you get the files, what to do if something goes wrong, and how refunds work.

The short version: you pay, you get the files instantly, you can print them forever, and if it's not right for you we refund you within 30 days without asking why.

Part 1 — Delivery

1.1 How it works

  1. You pay at checkout.
  2. The order confirmation screen shows your download links immediately.
  3. The same links are emailed to the address you entered at checkout, usually within 1–2 minutes.

There's no waiting period, no manual approval and no dispatch. If you closed the tab before downloading, the email has you covered.

If nothing has arrived within 15 minutes, check your spam or promotions folder first, then email {{SUPPORT_EMAIL}} and we'll resend it manually.

1.2 What you receive

The Brave Kids Emotional Skills Bundle is delivered as printable PDF files, laid out for both A4 and US Letter, and designed to print legibly on a standard home printer in black and white.

You'll get the individual resources as separate files so you can print only what you need rather than a single long document.

1.3 What you need to open them

Software Any PDF reader. Adobe Acrobat Reader is free. Preview on Mac, Edge, Chrome, Safari, Files on iPhone and Google Drive on Android all open PDFs natively
Device Any computer, tablet or phone. A computer is easier for printing
Printer Optional but recommended. Black and white is fine
Internet Needed to download. Not needed afterwards — the files are yours, offline

We don't require an account, an app, a subscription or a login. There's no DRM and no activation.

1.4 How long download links last

Link validity 60 days from purchase
Number of downloads Up to 5 per link
After that Email us and we'll issue a fresh link, free

The limits exist to stop links being posted publicly and used by hundreds of people. They are not there to stop you downloading your own files, and we will always reset them for you without argument.

1.5 If you lose the files

Email {{SUPPORT_EMAIL}} and we'll send them again. Free, for as long as we sell the product.

This applies whether you lost them to a dead hard drive, a wiped phone, a lost laptop, a deleted email or simply not being able to find them. You don't need to explain what happened and there's no fee. Just include the email address you used at checkout — that's how we find your order.

What we can't promise: we won't commit to hosting your files forever, because no small business can honestly promise that. If we ever stop selling the product we'll give at least 90 days' notice by email to everyone who bought it, so you can download a final copy.

Our honest recommendation: as soon as you download them, save a copy somewhere that isn't your Downloads folder — a cloud drive, an external disk, or emailed to yourself. Your own backup will always be faster than emailing us.

1.6 If a file won't open or looks broken

Try these first, because one of them fixes it about nine times out of ten:

  1. Download it again. Interrupted downloads produce corrupt files.
  2. Open it in a different app. If Preview or your browser struggles, try Adobe Acrobat Reader.
  3. Download on a computer rather than a phone, then transfer it.
  4. Check your storage. A full device silently truncates downloads.

If none of that works, email {{SUPPORT_EMAIL}} telling us the file name, your device, your operating system and what you're opening it with. We'll send a replacement file, and if we can't get you a working copy, you get a refund.

1.7 Printing

You can print the files as many times as you like, forever, for your own use. There's no print limit and no watermark on your copies.

Practical notes:

  • Choose "Actual size" or 100% rather than "Fit to page", or the sizing of the cards will be slightly off
  • The card resources are designed to be cut along the marked lines
  • Card stock works better than paper for anything you'll handle daily, but plain paper is fine
  • Laminating the calm-corner posters makes them last, if you have access to a laminator

1.8 Updates and new versions

If we correct an error or improve a resource, we'll email everyone who bought it with the updated file at no cost. You keep every version you've downloaded.

We don't charge for updates to a product you already own. If we ever release a genuinely new and separate product, that's a new purchase, and we'll be clear about which it is.

1.9 Sharing

Covered fully in section 6 of the Terms of Service. In one line: use it with your own family, your own classroom or your own caseload — don't send the file to anyone outside that group.

Download links are personal to you. Please don't forward them, post them, or share them in a group. If a link is being used at a scale that clearly isn't one household, we may deactivate it and ask you what happened before doing anything else.

Part 2 — Refunds

We sell digital downloads, which means you get the product instantly and we can't take it back. A lot of digital stores use that as a reason to refuse all refunds. We don't.

2.1 The 30-day guarantee

You have 30 days from the date of purchase to request a refund for any reason, including simply that the product wasn't right for you.

How to request one

Email thebravekids.ok@gmail.com with:

  • The email address you used at checkout, and
  • Your order number if you have it (it's in your confirmation email, but we can find it without it)

That's it. No forms, no questionnaire, and we won't ask you to justify yourself or prove you used it.

What happens next

Step Timeframe
We acknowledge your email Within 2 business days
We approve and submit the refund Within 5 business days of your request
Money appears in your account Usually 5–10 business days after that, depending on your bank or card issuer

The refund goes back to the original payment method, for the full amount you paid including any tax. We don't charge a restocking, processing or admin fee. If your bank takes longer than 10 business days, tell us and we'll send you the refund reference to chase it.

Do you have to delete the files?

No. We won't ask you to, and we won't chase you for them.

But to be clear about one thing: the restrictions in our licence still apply to any copy you keep. You can keep using them with your own family. You still can't resell, share or redistribute them.

2.2 When we'll refund you outside the 30 days

The guarantee is 30 days, but we'll refund you regardless of timing if:

  • You were charged twice for the same order, or bought the same bundle twice by accident
  • Someone used your card without permission — tell us and we'll refund and help you document it
  • We can't deliver the files. If something breaks on our side and we can't get you a working download within a reasonable time, you get your money back
  • A file is corrupt or unreadable and we can't supply a working replacement
  • The product was materially not as described on the product page when you bought it
  • The law where you live requires it — see section 2.6

2.3 When a refund isn't available

We'll decline a refund request if:

  • More than 30 days have passed and none of the situations in 2.2 apply
  • You've breached the licence — for example by uploading the files to a sharing site, reselling them, or distributing them beyond your own household, classroom or caseload
  • You won't let us troubleshoot. If you can't open a file, we need one round of back-and-forth to try to fix it. If you decline that and demand a refund on a technical ground we could have resolved, we may treat the request under the 30-day guarantee instead — which usually means you still get refunded, just not on a fault basis
  • You bought from someone else. If you got the files from a third party, a resale listing or a shared folder, you have no contract with us. We can't refund a purchase we never received
  • The request is fraudulent — for example a chargeback on a card you don't own, or repeated buy-and-refund cycles across multiple orders

We will always tell you which reason applies and why.

2.4 Chargebacks — please talk to us first

If you dispute the charge with your bank instead of emailing us, the bank freezes the amount and we lose the ability to just refund you quickly. It ends up slower for you and expensive for us.

We will refund you within the guarantee period. Please email thebravekids.ok@gmail.com first and give us 5 business days.

If you do file a chargeback, we'll respond with the delivery record — the order, the download timestamps and our correspondence — because we're required to. If a chargeback is filed and later reversed in our favour, we may decline future orders from you.

2.5 What happens to your access after a refund

Once a refund is processed, your licence to use the files for anything beyond your own private household use ends, and we may deactivate your download links. The restrictions on resale, sharing and redistribution continue to apply permanently, whether or not you keep a copy.

2.6 Your statutory rights

Nothing on this page takes away rights you have by law.

Australia. Our products come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. If a product has a major failure you're entitled to a refund or replacement, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss.

European Union and United Kingdom. You normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. For digital content delivered immediately, that right ends once download begins, provided you requested immediate delivery and acknowledged losing the right — which you do at checkout. Your rights in relation to faulty or misdescribed digital content are unaffected, and our 30-day guarantee is more generous than the statutory minimum either way.

United States. There is no federal cooling-off period for digital products bought online. Some states give you additional rights. Our 30-day guarantee applies to you regardless.

Anywhere else. If your local consumer law gives you more than this page does, your local law wins.

2.7 Currency and exchange rates

Refunds are issued in the currency you were charged in, for the exact amount we received. If your card was charged in a different currency, your bank's exchange rate on the refund date may differ slightly from the rate on the purchase date. That difference is set by your bank, not by us, and we can't adjust for it.
